Here is pattern ref : "D" set including a paper pattern + several pictures of the antique corset i draft, worn and display on antique mannequin.
This is an antique corset with 9x2 pattern pieces.
The pattern is for a corset, building with 2 layers of cream cotton coutil,a 30 cm (11.81 inches) busk,a ribbon waist tape...
The corset itself is not for sale.
Measurements:
Bust: 86cm(33.90 inches)
waist: 66 cm(26 inches)
small Hips 82 cm (32.30 inches)
The pattern is drafted from my personal antique corset and i try to be as clear and complete as possible.
I draft all seam's, stitch's, bone casing, waist band (if there's one),busk button place, eyelet place, edges tapes, flossing embroidery when there's some....
On a paper i try to notice all details such as bust/waist/hips/lenghts measurements, metallic or natural bones, color and used material, number of layer, seams technical draws(sandwich or one layer jeans method)
stamps or handwriting on corset when there's some.
I personaly drafted the pattern so they come on paper xerox.
I can't turn as digital as i'm in France with french paper size and scan size so this never greatly worked with abroad xerox or CAO material.
Again i perfer to send it per large letter paper to be sure of the original size.
I send the paper pattern by airmail post and i send by CD or internet file several view of the corset displayed on an historical mannequin form, showing outside but also inside of the corset.
If you manage to done reproduction of the corset, i could try to help you if you have questions as i've got the corset in hand.
You could do corset for yourself or as many corsets as you wanted, no limit for craftsman works.
This could be a little different if you manage to do industrial corsets over 100 units per corset pattern.Manufacturers and industrial please ask.
Craftsman, you could sell your corsets products, and by the way i hope you will sell a lot!
This was also concern professional corsetière who sell craftsman works.
Please don't forget All photos are copyrighted.
i also ask buyers to do not resal the patterns as the money i get will help me to take on my professional time
(i'm also professional corsetiere in France under Atelier sylphe name)to draft other antique corsets pattern from my personal collection to offer other style
(empire, victorian, corded, young girl, weeding and other sweety corsets.
